Samne Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using Samne. By using the Samne app, the Samne Business app or samneapp.com, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Samne.

What Samne is

Samne helps people discover nearby businesses, see live visit information such as queue length or how busy a place is, join queues and manage visits. Samne Business helps those businesses run their queue, staff and profile. Samne is a technology platform: the services themselves (a haircut, a gym session, a consultation and so on) are provided by the business, not by Samne.

Your account

• You sign in with your mobile number, verified by a one-time code. Keep your phone and codes to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate details, and don’t create accounts for other people without their permission.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app or without the app.

Queues, wait times and visits

• Queue positions, wait times and crowd levels are live estimates. They depend on the business and can change; Samne does not guarantee when you will be served.
• Businesses decide their own services, prices, opening hours, offers and who they serve. Prices and offers shown in Samne are set by the business.
• Please turn up when you are called and cancel if you can’t make it, so others aren’t kept waiting. A business may mark a missed turn as a no-show.

Businesses on Samne

• Registering your interest on samneapp.com is free and does not create an account or publish a listing. Samne verifies a business before its profile goes live and may decline or remove a business at its discretion.
• Any paid plan for Samne Business, and its price, will be explained to you and agreed before you are charged. No payment is taken on this website.
• Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, services, prices and offers, for how they serve customers, and for handling customer information they see in Samne only to serve those customers.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse Samne. That includes: joining queues you don’t intend to attend, posting false or abusive reviews, impersonating a person or business, trying to access accounts or data that aren’t yours, interfering with or overloading the service, or using Samne for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Reviews and content

You keep ownership of the reviews, photos and other content you add, and you allow Samne to show it within Samne and on samneapp.com. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

Website demonstrations

The product screens and interactive demos on samneapp.com use sample businesses, names and numbers to show how Samne works. They are not live businesses, real queues or real customer data.

Availability and changes

Samne is rolling out area by area and features may change as we improve it. We try to keep Samne running smoothly but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. If we change these terms, we will update the date above and tell you in the app when the change is significant.

Liability

Samne is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Samne is not responsible for the services a business provides, for delays or waiting times, or for indirect losses arising from your use of Samne. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
